Pay: $27-$35/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit a variety of family law filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements
  • Support attorneys throughout the case lifecycle, including gathering information and organizing materials for ongoing matters
  • Coordinate and track document exchanges between parties during the discovery phase
  • Compile, analyze, and organize client financial records and related documentation
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and assisting with general inquiries
  • Maintain organized digital and physical case records using internal systems and best practices
  • Assist in building case files for hearings and trial, including assembling supporting materials
  • Oversee scheduling logistics, ensuring key dates, deadlines, and appointments are properly managed
  • Communicate with external parties, including courts and opposing counsel, regarding case-related matters

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a law firm or professional office environment (family law experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with case management systems (Filevine preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
